Repairs: we repair down to component level all computers and related hardware peripherals. We repair among others the following hardware and related peripherals; Computers, Monitors, Printers, UPS, Cash drawers, Receipt printers, Point of Sale System, Customer Pole Displays, Touch Screens, Barcode Scanners, Keyboards, Label printers.

Technical service: Posbase Technology Botswana has a well maintained workshop that provide technical backup and support on all systems and solutions supplied into the market. We take away the hardware headache to allow you our client to focus more on the job at hand to ensure minimal down time rate.

TRAINNIG:

As part of our business objective, we ensure that dealer Manager / Supervisor are afforded quality forecourt software training. Dealer are developed to a level where they can detected and attend to basic faults so as to minimize down time rate on all forecourt system. Dealer training includes marketing sure dealer manager understands:

  • End of day forecourt and shop repots
  • End of Month forecourt and shop repots
  • Forecourt attendant performance reports.
  • Pump variances reports Etc.

Call Logging System

We have in place a call log system which monitors all site calls logged. All calls are followed and report given to the petroleum company on a monthly basis. The system report includes date and time of call, name of assigned technician and duration taken to resolve faults.

Relationship with other services providers.

We boast of our good relationship with the other service providers to the petroleum industry in Botswana. We work hand in hand with service providers like AP Pump and Prowalco both at managerial and technical level. We have managed to exchange ideas during sit automation, etc.

We further boast of yet another excellent relationship with our suppliers, Brach Software, Pinnacle Micro, PC-POS etc.

 

Technical support zoning and site coverage.

Our support zoning is divided into two zones:

A - South and Central B - North West and East.

Region A:

The Head office for Posbase is situated in Gaborone. The Gaborone Personal comprise of the Managing Director, Manager Accounts and Technicians. The technical team support all dealer sites within the south and Central district and may offer relief to other regions depending on the volume of technical calls.

Area under Region A:

Gaborone, Mochudi, Molepolole, Lobatse, Kanye, Tsabong, Kang, Hukunsi, Mahalapye,   Palapye, Serowe and Martins drifts.

Region B:

The other regions are supported by a resident technician based in Francis town. The technician supports all sites north of Botswana. However the call logging is done in Gaborone and our support desk will log a call with a relevant technician.

Areas under Region B:

Francis town, Selibe-Phikwe, Bobonong,Orapa, Kasane, Maun, Ganzi, Masunga etc.

Loan & Backup Equipment

Due to nature of clients we support, it is important that adequate stocking of loan equipment exists. At Posbase we ensure that we maintain working loan / backup equipment that we provide 24hrs in a situation where fault equipment does not warranty on-site repair. This loan equipment is installed until site equipment is repaired. We have in stock for inspection the following loan equipment as per attachment.

Priority levels to respond to a logged call

Transport: All our support staff are given each reliable vehicle to enable one travel to remote site.

Remote Support:  Our main objective in our support is reduce site down time rate to zero. We have remote upload software used to fix any remote errors though modem. This approach definitely helps the dealers to have problems worked on without support staff going to site.
